I am cooking guys, I swear!! But my father in law is in town and he created his list of requested dishes from a bunch of my latest posts. So it’s all repeats right now.
But check out what I did do. I made some salsa to go with the carnitas and instead of grabbing the ground cumin, I grabbed the ground thyme and threw that into my salsa. The first night it wasn’t that bad, and I was so exhausted that I didn’t even notice. But the second night…after the spices had a chance to marry…YUCK. We had to throw the whole batch out. Thank god I can chalk that screw up to a bad case of PG-brain.
Next week I’m going to try out a pasta recipe from The Pioneer Woman that I’ve been eyeing for some time now, so check back!!
